Reconnecting Disconnected Sessions
Why Sessions Disconnect
- Phone lost internet connection (WhatsApp)
- WhatsApp app was updated
- Server maintenance (rare)
- Session was idle for too long
- You manually logged out from linked devices
Reconnecting WhatsApp
- Open your BotWave dashboard
- Find the disconnected session
- Click "Reconnect" or "Re-scan QR"
- If reconnect doesn't work, scan a new QR code
Reconnecting Telegram Bot
Telegram bot sessions rarely disconnect. If they do:
- Check that your bot token is still valid
- Open @BotFather, send /mybots, select your bot
- If the token was revoked, generate a new one and update it in BotWave
Reconnecting Telegram Userbot
- Open your BotWave dashboard
- The userbot should auto-reconnect on server restart
- If it doesn't, re-enter your API credentials
Preventing Disconnections
- Keep your phone connected to internet (WhatsApp)
- Don't unlink devices from WhatsApp settings while the bot is running
- Don't revoke your Telegram bot token while the bot is active
